About the Position: Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative responsible for developing and processing, planning, organizing, and monitoring contracts and equipment in support of the G-3/7 mission.
Duties
Responsible for consolidating, monitoring, and maintaining budget projections, contracts, and contract manpower reconciliation
Serves as the Technical Officer Representative for the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) contract.
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative responsible for developing and processing, planning, organizing, and monitoring contracts and equipment in support of the G-3/7 mission.
Conducts all Alternate Billing Official (ABO) responsibilities to include ensuring that cardholder purchases are in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Serves as the Directorate’s Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance. Failure to satisfactory complete any aspects of the process is grounds for termination.
- May be required to perform over 25% of duties in a temporary duty travel.
- Overtime may be required on short notice.
- Shift work may be required on a 24/7 basis and also may be necessary during exercises, crises, or contingencies.
- Incumbent may be required to temporarily work extended and irregularly tours of duty to include days, nights, shifts and weekend.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing studies/analysis on resources, personnel and training support issues; 2) analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of current and projected operating programs; 3) preparing papers and reports relating to budgetary and special projects; AND 4) analyzing the federal budget process to include program objective memorandums. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
