About the Position: Serve as SHARP Program Compliance Spcialist for either the ACOM, ASCC, or DRU SHARP Program.
Duties
As a SHARP Program Compliance Specialist (SAR WF), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
Assist the SHARP Program Manager (PM) in developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of SHARP programs enterprise wide.
Prepares and/or provides input to detailed short and long-term Command(s) SHARP action plan(s) to eliminate sexual harassment and sexual assault and report accomplishments.
Plans, coordinates, and assists with executing external inspections (e.g. Inspector General, Quality Assurance Office, etc.), investigations, and inquiries conducted by higher level commands.
Gathers and analyzes data and recommends improvements in data gathering/analysis related to sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Background checks against all records as required by law, OPM, DoD, and Army policy and regulation will be conducted, prior to entering on duty in the position IAW governing regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- State Criminal History Repository check is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Within 6 Months of employment must successfully complete required Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) training and obtain and maintain DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) Certification.
- Must complete all required SHARP courses, obtain D-SAACP certification, and be place on appointment orders prior to having any victim contact or access to victim information.
- Required to self-report civilian arrests, the filing of criminal charges, and/or convictions of any criminal offense to their supervisors.
- May be required to carry cell phone and be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a rotational basis, based on the needs of the organization.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), may be required up to 40% of the time.

Specialized Experience Statement To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Work which includes utilizing Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Compliance methods and processes; analyzing harassment and assault trends to identify individual and systematic problems in command policy, practices and procedures; assisting the SHARP Program Manager (PM) assessing training, prevention and all other facets of the SHARP program.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
