The primary purpose of this position is to serve as conduit to installation unit, group and Wing Commander (CC/CCs)/Director (CL/CLs) for employee RESILIENCE AND READINESS matters; leading Peer to Peer support network, serves as non-clinical point of consultation for resource & referral and provides outreach and marketing for available community and on base services.
Duties
Manage the unit resilience and readiness program.
Provide input/recommendations to unit CC/CL on all quality of life and resilience matters impacting unit climate and assigned members.
Perform evidence-based outreach to provide resources and referral information to unit personnel.
Asist the installation Community Action team executed the stablished initiatives.

- Must receive required certification (Master Resilience Trainer) with this first design 24 months.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). General experience is described as assisting with peer-to-peer support networks, providing non-clinical consultation and point of contact for providing resources and referral for providing outreach and marketing for available community showing an understanding of social service delivery systems, concepts, principles, and practices of behavioral sciences to effectively participate in working groups and coordinate recommended solutions; assisted with analysis and evaluations of issues related to resilience and readiness, participated in the development of action plans to measure and improve program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of available community resource on and off the installation (i.e. Military & Family Readiness Center, Employee Assistance Program, Civilian Health Promotion Services, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response etc.)
Knowledge of computers; computer system/software, databases, and statistical techniques.
Skill in preparing and presenting large and small group trainings with the ability to adapt materials based on a variety of audiences.
Ability to develop and present reports for senior leadership.
Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel, including senior leadership, with tact, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is primarily sedentary. May require some walking, standing, bending, carrying and/or lifting of light items such as paper or books. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is performed in a typical office setting, requiring the use of normal safety precautions necessary for an office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
