You will serve as a Supervisor Technical Information Specialist in the Technical Library Management Branch (Code 213), Engineering Support Division (Code 210), Engineering Department (Code 200), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Duties
You will plan, oversee and direct division personnel.
You will develop programs for review, evaluation and approval of technical requirements for the processes in the Technical Library.
You will monitor the quality technical accuracy of branch tasks and products.
You will establish program policies and ensure all required procedures and instructions are implemented.
You will prepare oral and written communication for dissemination.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience establishing, instituting and maintaining the technical library and satellite libraries for a command;
Experience ensuring the quality, integrity and validity of technical manuals, documents and audits;
Experience analyzing findings and developing recommendations in the adjustment of program plans, objectives, and resourcing to accommodate changes; Experience with Navy and DoD technical, regulatory and administrative policies;
Experience planning, designing, completing projects and meeting deadlines;
Experience comprehending guidelines and manuals used to create briefing reports for higher level presentation and naval correspondence using expert skill in oral and written communication, to communicate, negotiate, and resolve conflict;
Experience recognizing, analyzing and solving difficult problems and making technical recommendations and decisions.
