You will serve as a SPOP PLANNER in the Fleet Readiness Center SE, Facility & Infrastructure Management Dept of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will require knowledge of manufacturing and corrective maintenance terms commonly used in the plant maintenance environment in order to
effectively communicate with plant maintenance trade workers.
You will work under pressure and must have the ability to remain calm and take appropriate measures if emergency situations arise.
You will be expected to perform with a minimum of supervision, and is expected to work independently and as a team member in performing the duties of the position.
You will negotiate and resolve controversial issues with many levels of contact.
You will require knowledge of material systems such as GSA Fedmall, DLA supply system, Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) system, and others used to procure parts and material.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Reviewing work orders, shop orders, written or oral instructions, and drawing or blueprints and determines materials, equipment and tools needed to accomplish the specified work. 2) Checking materials indicated on job orders or materials list to be sure that it is complete and correct for the work to be done. 3) Preparing request forms for materials to be procured outside the activity. 4) Following up to assure timely delivery of material and requests supply department or suppliers to expedite slow shipments of urgently needed items. 5) Maintaining a file of manufactures' catalogs, part lists, material specification and similar documents.
