You will serve as a Maintenance Scheduler in the Maintenance Control Branch, Industrial Plant Maintenance Division, Industrial Production Support Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will review reports on the status of work and provide recommendations to reschedule maintenance jobs.
You will assign maintenance work to employees and instruct on work requirements, methods, and procedures.
You will plan and schedule work relative to the repair, maintenance, and checkout of equipment, tools, and systems.
You will schedule starting and completion dates for work operations performed by industrial trades (e.g., carpentry, pipefitting, electrical, machinery)
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Provide Production Support Services such as: 1) Providing workload scheduling to shops or worksites for plant maintenance and customer projects; 2) Authorizing imitation of work projects and balancing the workload while considering the available manpower for assigned projects; 3) Analyzing material requirements of orders to determine if any materials need to be substituted for projects; 4) Planning work by determining manpower, availability of equipment, and materials needed for trades such as carpentry, pipefitting, electrical and machinery; and 5) Reviewing job orders, plans and materials lists to ensure equipment, materials and manpower are available.
