Duties

Maintain accurate accounting and reporting system files for non-expendable PB and Durable Property Conduct research to prepare required documentation to reconcile discrepancies for approval. Serve as a liaison to provide technical support, training, and regulatory guidance to primary hand-receipt holders across various programs. Develop procedures allowing for customer ease in obtaining property data and the execution of property accountability inventories and status changes. Provide logistical advice and technical support to primary hand-receipt holders Serve as organizational point of contact for matters concerning equipment and supplies to the mission.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Basic security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 10% of the time
  • 1 year probationary period may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-6. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)Manages and Organizes InformationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
