About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, Logistics Division(S4). Incumbent provides technical supply support to the Battalion by procuring supplies and equipment and conducting inventories, ensuring property accountability, maintaining supply records, providing guidance to Battalion staff sections, and other tasks associated with logistics support.

Duties

Manage an established supply program to provide adequate supplies to multiple areas of the battalion. Review Government Purchase Credit Card transactions to track supply purchases. Provide technical guidance to battalion personnel on property accountability and unit supply functions. Applies supply system techniques and principles to complete work assignments Utilize an automated property accountability system to prepare hand receipts.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
