Duties

Make purchases using the International Merchant Purchase Authorization (IMPAC) VISA Credit Card Ensure receipt, storage, and disposition of accounting records Provide technical assistance in supply and logistics management Plan and develops policies and procedures for logistics support

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 20% of the time.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, and any installation, DOD and/or Federal license or certification required for vehicle operated.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • Must complete the Army Accident Avoidance Course.

Specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as: Experience with a governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the unique requirements to plan and execute a supply program. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational AwarenessSelf-ManagementTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Education
