About the Position: This position is for a Supply Technician (Office Automation) is with Martin Army Community Hospital, located at Fort Moore, Georgia.
Duties
Perform a wide variety of supply management including requisition, inventory, reconciliation and documenting supplies/equipment.
Ensure supply room is well stocked and organized by regularly transporting supplies from the warehouse to supply room.
Maintain unaccompanied housing (barracks) to assign and terminate tenants using automated Enterprise Military Housing (EMH) system.
Works with customers to resolve supply management issues including receiving requests, delays, expediting deliveries and resolving problems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Pre-appointment medical examination/physical is required.
- Incumbent maybe required to work on call during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and/or varying work schedules.
- Valid driver license.
- One year probation maybe required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing a wide range of supply operations to include requisitioning, receiving, reconciliation, issue/turn in equipment; and inventory; 2) maintain supply room to ensure it has adequate materials/supplies on hand; and 3) ensuring inventories of sensitive items are conducted monthly. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
