Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Responsible for planning, controlling and executing Agency supply operations.
Duties
Responsible for the overall Agency supply function.
Establishes and maintains a system of credit card purchases and GFEBS PR/PO’s IAW regulations and guidelines.
Monitors operator maintenance and schedules turn in of equipment requiring maintenance and calibration beyond the user level utilizing GCSS-A.
Responsible for coordinating with, and providing assistance to, the Property Book Officer in establishing and maintaining property accounting records.
Operates government-issued 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive, gas and diesel- driven vehicles, with a gross vehicle weight up to and including 22,000 lbs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent must have a current valid state motor vehicles operator license.
- The incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a civilian and/or military vehicle license for a skid steer loader.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain civilian and/or military vehicle licenses for various sized forklifts to include rough terrain lifts.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain civilian and/or military vehicle licenses for cargo vehicles up to 5 tons.
- Heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- 1 Year Probationary period Required.
- Physical required.
- T1 Background check required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing supply operations support for activities involvingspecialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; and providing administrative support such as gathering information, compiling data,generating documents and maintaining files for supply management programs.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
