This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), Operations, Budget, and Performance Management Division.
Duties
Develops, monitors and reports to management on the state of OVC's budget and expenditures.
Supports OVC Director congressional briefings through the development of comprehensive, specialized materials.
Prepares and formulates a consolidated budget on both a long- and short-term basis.
Serves as co-lead for all federal victim assistance requests including soliciting requests from the field, reviewing and recommending all funding requests, writing and developing memoranda of understanding, managing interagency agreements throughout active life, responding to questions and working collaboratively with federal partners and reviewing all financial and performance measures reports.
Serves as development lead and caretaker for various monthly and quarterly reports on grant obligations, audit and metric reporting, progress of interagency agreements and contracts, office training and travel expenditures and other ad-hoc requests.
Plans and establishes organizational analyses that encompass large, difficult and diverse projects.
Serves as a contracting officer's representative (COR). Ensures the requirements of assigned contracts are met.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Developing and monitoring budget and expenditures.
Implementing and monitoring financial management controls.
Evaluating, planning, and carrying out analytical work for development and presentation of budget.
Preparing and formulating a consolidated budget on both a long- and short-term basis.
Planning and establishing organizational analyses that encompass large, difficult, and diverse projects.
