About the Position: The position of Supervisory Health Systems Specialist GS-0671-12 is located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, WA.

Duties

Serves as Chief, Credentials Branch. Performs the full range of supervisory duties. Provides guidance and counseling to employees and resolves disciplinary problems should they occur. Plans, monitors and performs the functions of the credentials/privileging program. Analyzes and implements new policy requirement and regulations which provides guidance used for application in performing a wide variety of credentialing/privileging activities Manages adverse privileging action notifications

  • This position is considered mission essential. should the command shut down the installation, will this position be required to still report to work
  • This position is Inclement Weather Essential. This means that you must be willing to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Health Policy Planning SupportHealth Systems AnalysisOral CommunicationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
