This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at Fort Meade, Maryland .
Duties
Serves as first line supervisor for audiovisual production and multimedia specialists.
Performs as Senior Producer/Director, direct television producers and video operations staff to create, plan, develop, and produce a wide range of audiovisual products.
Products produced range from professional video productions, edited video products, illustrations and computer generated graphics to sophisticated motion graphics, professional video productions, and digital photography.
Responsible for all aspects of production to include: attending preplanning meetings, establishing customer requirements, researching material, writing scripts, and scheduling facilities, equipment and personnel to complete the production.
Plans, schedules, assigns, and discusses visual information productions with other producer/directors and monitor productions and daily operational activities to ensure deadlines are met and proper documentation is maintained.

Individual Occupational Requirement:
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. In addition to meeting the individual occupational requirement, qualified applicants must possess:
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-12 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience includes experience in implementing changes within the context of film production and broadcast environments, developing processes for and experience with film production and broadcast operations (i.e., camera operations, editing software, and broadcast equipment), experience in short and lang range planning with adept project management skills.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Education
