You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the INSTALLATION AND ENVIRONMENT DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.

Duties

You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's program and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.

Qualifications

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of standard practices and procedures in support of financial and/or budget objectives for an organization; AND formulate budget and cost estimate to support plans and/or programs. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Compiling, analyzing, and/or summarizing both financial and budgetary information; researching regulatory material; AND performing financial management studies or assisting others with full scale studies. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
