You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Training and Education Command of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, and financial management regarding policies and procedures within the organization.
You will direct and perform continuing program execution reviews, analysis, and appraisals of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variance or problem areas.
You will develop formats and content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution as well as preparing and reviewing responses to financial reviews and audits.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Serving as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within an organization; (2) Directing program execution reviews, analysis, and appraisals of major operating and support programs within an organization; (3) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and providing recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; (4) Providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution while coordinating the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of missions tasks for an organization; (4) Promulgating approved financial management policies within the organization based on Department of the Navy policy and developing implementing procedures; and (5) Preparing and reviewing responses to financial reviews or audits while developing format and content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations.
