About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Duties
Plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
Develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and makes formal and informal performance appraisals.
Select workers and assigns tasks to be performed.
Interview candidates for vacancies and recommends selections.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is a Testing Designated Position; as such, employee is required to continuously comply with/meet all applicable provisions of Depot and Department of the Army regulations/guidance pertaining to random drug testing. DO, 19 NOV 13.

Ability to select workers and assigns tasks to be completed. Skilled in instructing subordinates in new procedures; and provides advice when problems arise. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
