About the Position: This position serves as Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and Branch Chief of a PM Logistics Management Office with responsibility for the overall management, planning, acquisition, direction, and coordination of integrated logistics support activities for the PM of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems.
This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grades 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system.
Duties
Develops new supply and maintenance concepts for new items.
Provides logistical support to CONUS, overseas commands, and foreign countries that support Uncrewed Aircraft Systems.
Formulates objectives for execution of supportability design influence, hardware and post deployment software life cycle support, supply, contractor logistics support, maintenance, and training programs.
Determines scope and intensity of economic trends, directives and orders of higher echelons on the logistical support programs and takes positive action to effect changes and minimize adverse impact.
Identifies new program requirements and provides for the development of plans for integration with Uncrewed Aircraft Systems.
Analyzes performance in light of internally established goals, to determine the extent to which accomplishments measure up to requirements and expectations.
Adjusts objectives and goals in relation to mission and utilization of resources in relation to objectives and goals to attain an effective balance between current and anticipated requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- This position is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP)/Key Leadership Position (KLP). 8 years of acquisition experience are required.
- This position requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing authoritative advice on integrated production support throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle; 2) Tailoring regulations, formal guidance, and processes specific to program and program deliverables; and 3) Overseeing the planning and implementation of product support efforts to ensure the best use of available resources.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13/NH-03).
