Duties

Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plan and operating budgets to include Capital Purchase and Minor Construction. Performs minor maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work orders for out-sourced maintenance. Performs general housekeeping and ensure areas are ready for use. Oversees the daily golf course maintenance program including, but not limited to, mowing practices, irrigation, corrective and preventive chemical applications, and fertilization of necessary areas. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a DOD Pest Management Certificate within first year.

Qualifications

At least one year specialized experience managing at least one component of a golf program, such as grounds maintenance, equipment maintenance, food and beverage, etc. and supervising staff. Highly Qualifying criteria: In addition to the minimum qualifications, experience working in a fitness facility.
