About the Position: This vacancy exists within the Program Executive Office, Combat Support & Combat Service Support located in either Warren or Selfridge ANG Base, MI. The referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill multiple vacancies within PEO CS&CSS and Program Executive Office, Ground Combat Systems.
Duties
Develops and maintains close liaison and coordination with all participating agencies/organizations and users of the related systems, and with DoD/DA agencies and staff elements.
Exercises control over contracts, priorities, schedules; and directing and controlling the work performed by the various organizations in support of the project.
Serves as an advisor and represents the organization at meetings and conferences with representatives of departments and agencies.
Participates in the activities of the organization and leverages enterprise information technology to capitalize on the organization’s business processes, best practices, lessons learned, know-how, customer relationships, successes, and innovation.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- The position is Non-Critical Sensitive requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret
clearance.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management - Practitioner certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position. This position requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one
year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR):
Have IT-related experience that demonstrates each of the following four competencies:

In addition to the IOR requirements above, you must meet the Specialized Requirements below.
Specialized Experience: In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes:1) Leading and coordinating the efforts of other IT Specialists in solving complex issues and problems for a wide range of hardware and software systems;. 2) Monitoring organization technology activities to identify areas of improvement; 3) Developing strategic goals to improve organization or individual performance and 4) Recommending solutions to technology issues to improve customer support. The definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or (GS-13) equivalent.
