As a Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-14, you will be part of the Labor Relations team in Accountability and Workforce Relations, Workforce Policy and Innovation. If selected, you will be responsible for serving as a technical expert and performs Labor -Management Relations staff work of high technical difficulty and carries out other important assignments in implementing OPM's leadership responsibilities for the Executive Branch's labor-management program.

Duties

Identifies and recommends case studies which analyze current case law, legislation, collective bargaining, and other labor relation subjects under the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute.

Qualifications

For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level, or equivalent, conducting studies which analyze current case law and analyzing collective bargaining impacts on personnel management; researching and interprets laws, regulations, and case law to provide management with courses of action; and advises or provides guidance on consulting with labor organizations. Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS14 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
