Duties
Assist in the development of Department of the Army procedures, guidelines, and standards for electronic forms design and production.
Provide staff assistance to assure compliance with regulatory guidance.
Plan, develop, and design forms program projects.
Plan, organizes, and conducts special projects, as assigned or identified on own initiative, to improve overall electronic forms program operations.
Design of departmental forms for a digital and paper environment, to include electronic design and intelligence to digital presentation standards.
Review and analyze systems and procedures governing the use of forms prescribed in new and revised directives.
Perform periodic reviews of all forms within the Army-wide inventory.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with electronic form design using industry standard forms design software (such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Designer); following set policy requirements for electronic form production; and reviewing electronic forms for proper format and policy compliance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as computer science or design.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
