This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner Financing and Operations. As a Customer Liaison Specialist, you will coordinate and execute communications with the Federal Agency and financial institution communities on topics pertinent to the post-payment activity, as well as collaborate with appropriate representatives.
Duties
As a Customer Liaison Specialist, you will:
Coordinate regular communications with customers on post-payment topics, maintaining a schedule to keep the Manager's Office abreast of upcoming customer events.
Develop and deliver training to customers via a variety of mediums including webinars, conference calls and in-person, based upon needs of customer on topics including the Green Book and Gold Book.
Explore and develop a network of media access to present and publicize Division mission, objectives, policy and successes to the financial community, civic and consumer organizations, and other beneficiaries of the Government.
Coordinate training on the security features of U.S. Treasury checks with the Document Analysts in the Manager's Office.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes performing administrative work applying analytical experience, to serve as a customer liaison or subject matter expert in the coordination and execution of communications related to post-payment activity.
Example of such experience could be the following:
Applying policies and procedures in order to assist with post payment research analysis. OR
Delivering trainings relating to payment processing using a variety of methods based on assessing customer needs. OR
Communicating with financial institutions in order to present organizational goals.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
