Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as experience in providing strategic planning, outreach, and coordination of cross-program activities related to financial assistances or environmental funding programs; and fostering relationships to provide technical information to various stakeholders.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of domestic preference statues, guidance, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of federal financial programs, policies, and procedures.
Skill in written communication.
Knowledge of domestic manufacturing and supply chains, including clean energy technologies, policies, and programs.
Skill in oral communication.
Knowledge of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, and other environmental funding programs.
Ability to analyze data in order to provide advice, counsel, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
