You will serve as an INTERNATIONAL MILITARY STUDENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Duties
You will provide detailed, daily support requirements for all International Military Students assigned to NCC, NSC, IMSOC, and MSGSC.
You will serve as the main point of contact to help students upon arrival and throughout the academic year.
You will maintain files or records to keep documents organized according to the organization's polices or procedures.
You will counsel applicants to familiarize them with housing laws, civil codes, local customs, and related information regarding off-base tenancy.
You will submit and track travel claims, vouchers, and receipts after travel completion.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with the preparation and submission of pay and travel allowance documentation; 2) Applying knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations to calculate per diem and lodging allowances; 3) Providing lodging assistance to personnel through coordination with local realtors and rental agents; and 4) Utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, and Power Point and database management programs to create and maintain documents, reports, or presentations.
