These positions are located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) located in Washington, D.C. The duties of the position include a variety of developmental program support assignments which will orient each incumbent to the mission and work of the OCIO, developing knowledge of the program office(s) supported.

Duties
Performs data and database analyses, creates queries for reporting.
Responds to customer inquiries to gather detailed information to ensure proper resolution.
Assists with research and analysis of data collected via available sources and proposes solutions to assigned projects and tasks.
Assists with the development of Microsoft Office 365 tools to gather and report metrics on various Information Management programs.
Assists with updates to SharePoint, DOI.gov web pages, and/or Microsoft Teams site updates that support various Information Management Programs.
Participates in meetings and discussions and captures detailed notes.
Assists with archiving, maintenance, and disposition of electronic records.
Assists with policy (Departmental Manual Chapters) and resource (Handbooks) updates.
Reviews, revises, and compiles information included in program and project documents, manuals, and reports.
Contributes to the drafting and submission of materials as directed.
Assists with other Program duties as needed.
Qualifications

Eligibility Requirements:
In order to be eligible for the Pathways Not-to-Exceed Internship Program, the following qualifications must be met:
Be a U.S. citizen;
Be at least 16 years of age;
Be a student enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree or certificate seeking student taking at least a half-time academic, technical, or vocational course load in an accredited technical, vocational, 2 or 4 year college or university, graduate or professional school. The Certificate Program requirement includes post-secondary education, in a qualifying educational institution, equivalent to at least one academic year of full-time study that is part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum.
Possess and maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent on a 4.0 scale.
Appointees must sign a Participant Agreement that sets forth the expectations for the Pathways Program.
The duration of an excepted service appointment in the Pathways Program is a trial period.
*If you are currently enrolled, but in your last semester/quarter of completing your degree/certificate requirements, you must show proof of continued education such as an acceptance letter or you will be disqualified.
Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications Requirement: Applicants must meet one of the statements below to qualify for the Student Trainee (Admin), GS-0399-04 position.
A. One year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled; OR
B. Two years of education above the high school level (i.e. 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) or have an AA degree (Must provide transcripts as verification of your education.); OR
C. An equivalent combination of experience and education as defined above which equals 100%. (For example, 6 months of experience and 1 year of education above the high school level. Must provide transcripts as verification of your education.)
