This position is located in Rocky Mountain National Park, in the Facility Management Division.
This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment.
Duties
Performs parkwide sign maintenance, construction and repairs.
Able to layout, construct, install, repair and maintain signs of various types and materials using carpentry tools and equipment and signmaking software and equipment.
Constructs, installs, modifies and repairs interpretive and other devices including display cases, and cabinets, display bases, locking dispensers, plaques, exhibit bases and mountings, picture frames, etc.
Constructs, maintains and repairs log and timber frame trailhead information kiosks.
Will construct, maintain and repair backcountry signs and signposts.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprinting reading)
Measurement and Layout
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Materials
