About the Position: This position is located at Fort Sam Houston.
Duties
Coordinates and negotiates with officials of various federal, state, local and/or host nation organizations to develop new agreements and discuss or renegotiate existing agreements.
Evaluates proposed agreements for conformance to regulations, directives and guidance. Identifies areas which may impact command policy, resources, procedures and operations.
Analyzes and assess assigned programs to determine operational effectiveness, efficiencies and productivity, related to performance of or support to Base Operations (BASOPS), Medical Readiness Command, or subordinate unit functions.
Requires extensive investigation and coordination with internal and external agencies and formulation of mutually supportive guidance and execution.
Resolves differences regarding support services among MRC staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing agreements in accordance with government regulations; directing the review of support agreements to ensure they were correctly documented; providing guidance to both internal leadership and external officials at agencies in support agreements AND leads, conducts, and/or supports detailed analyses of MRC-related workload data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
