About the Position: Serves a public affairs specialist for the Office of Public Affairs, Headquarters (HQs) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This position will be filled on a permanent basis.

Duties

Responsible for the planning, development, implementing, overseeing, and managing of HQUSACE public affairs activities. Contribute to the content, design and management of USACE’s public websites, intranet, and other digital platforms. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with groups within and outside of the Organization to advance communications programs and identify new/emerging engagement opportunities and innovative techniques. Develop themes, key messages, and talking points that help target audiences understand district activities.

Requirements

• This position requires a valid driver's license.
• This position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 25% of the time.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 40 lbs.
