You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST on the H-1 FST supporting the Readiness IPT in FST Organization of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will serve as the central point of contact for all for logistics support related to sustainment efforts for the H-1 FST Readiness IPT.
You will work with aviation maintenance departments, supply departments, and other stakeholders to solve emerging readiness logistics problems, lead IETM technical manual improvement efforts, and provide onsite support to H-1 Fleet activities.
You will communicate orally and in writing while working closely with the Fleet, H-1 logistics and engineering teams, analytics lead, H-1 FST leadership, PMA-276, TYCOM, and other stakeholders as required.
You will work directly for the H-1 FST Lead Logistician, and functionally align to the readiness IPT providing products and solutions that will address logistics constraints within the H-1 Fleet.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying of ILS elements; 2) Understanding logistics management policies and processes; 3) Managing logistics workload and plan work of team members in order to provide support 4) Understanding Marine Corps maintenance levels and supply department functionality.
