Duties
Joint Warfighter Support Representative (JWSR) who is the primary DLA customer representative for military activities to provide logistical assistance and adaptive planning support.
Develop, refine, analyze, and modify logistical and supply program policies impacting all military activities in the Pacific Theater.
Reviews logistics programs to determine efficacy and compliance with respect to laws, regulations, agreements, and policies.
Works in partnership with customer for statistical forecasting to understand the needs and uses of DLA products for analysis with historical demand data.
Evaluates operations to resolve shortfalls, limitations, and other impactful conditions.
Analyzes statistical trends to determine program effectiveness and projected requirements.
Provides demand patterns and statistical models of prediction for incorporation to the Agency's forecasting model networks and tools.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Logistics Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Resolve shortfalls, limitations, and other impactful conditions of operation plans which limit the ability to perform.
Evaluate logistical and supply program plans.
Perform statistical analysis to develop forecasts for demand patterns.
Assess an organization's performance and ability to meet tasks and missions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Physical Demands: Assignments regularly involve long periods of standing, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in an industrial, storage, or comparable work area. Frequent travel may be required. Occasional work under adverse environmental conditions is required, such as when deployed as part of a DLA Support Team (DST). Deployment may require carrying articles like personal duffle bags or other items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment: Assignments regularly require visits to manufacturing, storage, or other industrial areas, and involve moderate risks or discomforts. Protective clothing and gear and observance of safety precautions are required. Deployment on a DST may require working in a field environment and living in conditions like those the supported customers are subjected to.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
