About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist located within the AMCOM Logistics Center, Missiles Directorate.

Duties
Monitor the total supply, provisioning, maintenance, training and related programs to assure that all actions are accomplished within the proper time frame to support the life cycle of the system and/or equipment.
Serve as Contracting Officer Representative, (COR) performing the COR duties and functions of assessment of contractor performance in delivery of products and/or services.
Manage the efforts of contractor and government personnel to ensure requirements of the integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) are performed.
Coordinate and exercise managerial direction over the integration of supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, item introduction provisioning for assigned systems during all phases of the life cycle.
Review and analyze report for weapon system to determine solutions to logistics problems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

- Temporary duty travel (TDY) 25%.
- Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes a mastery of advanced concepts, principles, practices and regulations pertaining to the broad field of logistics management related to a weapon system project/program; integration of separate logistics functions; expert knowledge of the organization and functional activities providing logistics support, Department of Army (DA) supply and maintenance, system programming and allocation, various funding documents and materiel acquisition policy in order to integrate the separate logistics functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS 12) grade

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
