This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Transmission Services, Transmission Engineering & Technical Services, Substation Engineering, Engineering Support.
A successful candidate in the Engineering Technician (Electrical) position will serve as an Engineering Technician performing engineering design and implementation, engineering standards and specifications, and commodity engineering activities to support BPA's electrical transmission systems and facilities.

- This position does not support remote work. You will be required to report physically to the official reporting worksite as specified by the supervisor, but no less than 3 days per pay period
- This position requires a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
GS-11: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-10 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience in developing drawings using computer design software such as computer-aided design (CAD) to 1) support customer service engineering projects and 2) develop and maintain internal technical documentation.
GS-12: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience in developing drawings using computer design software to include computer-aided design (CAD) to 1) support critical customer service engineering projects, 2) develop and maintain internal technical documentation, and 3) provide guidance to engineers and other technicians and contractors.
