This position is located in NWFC (Critical Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance), Workplace Services (NW), Chief Administrative Office (N) Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
This position supports 24x7 critical facilities operations and is responsible for performing inspections, overseeing maintenance and testing that supports Critical Utilities Uptime requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is defined as experience in: 1) working with mechanical/plumbing systems that support critical assets (i.e., emergency engine generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, CRAC units and/or plumbing systems, etc.); 2) reviewing and editing technical documentation (i.e., drawings, procedures, work standards, construction standards and/or policies, etc.) related to mechanical infrastructure projects and maintenance activities; 3) managing and overseeing a wide variety of projects that include repair activities related to mechanical infrastructure (i.e., scope development, project management, project monitoring, etc.).
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
