You will serve as a an Analyst in the Supplier Performance and Logistics Systems Department at Naval Sea Logistics Center Keyport Divisions (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Maine.
Duties
You will participate in planning, organizing, and directing functional automation studies and long-range forecasts.
You will work with functional and technical information technology specialists to develop functional design specifications and construct hierarchies of criticality in requirements, develop critical pathways to assure logic and connectivity.
You will monitor automated functions in assigned area of responsibility and assesses systems and processes for effectiveness, efficiency, economy, compliance, connectivity, standardization, and consistency with current philosophy and policy.
You will develop standards against which performance will be measured and establishes metrics to be used.
You will submit authoritative reports, make presentations, and engage in discussions regarding status and progress with the Managers, sponsors and customers, and senior corporate managers.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: monitoring project or task planning, cost benefit analysis, resource management or project status reporting, to identify trends or inefficiencies and recommend improvements for projects.

Education
For GS-11: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.;
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
