Duties
You will manage the conduct of ISEA designations and certifications of Navy and NAVWAR DS business rule development.
You will represent NAVWAR 4.0 at meetings, conferences, and working groups with the Navy's Distance Support Business Rules, Surface and Information Warfare Enterprise (SWE/IWE) another other Navy and Virtual Systems.
You will manage the processing of designation and certification requests to a conclusion and ensure compliance with established policy and processes.
You will be required to provide oversight of NAVWAR activities in the upkeep of the Planned Maintenace System to ensure proper PMS Service Requests (PSR) assignment, tracking, and response.
You will review weekly, monthly, and quarterly CASREP/PSR data and provide performance analysis and recommendations to ISEA managers and other leadership to improve responsiveness to the fleet.
You will coordinate with Naval Information Warfare Sytems Center in determining DS and ISEA requirements, system performance and metric analysis.
You will develop and implement In-Service and Distance Support policies across the NAVWAR enterprise.
You will assist in managing the NAVWAR utilization of the Navy Enterprise Service Desk (NESD) Helix Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) infrastructure and will utilize Information Technology Infrastructure library (ITIL).

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Analyzing In-Service Support requirements of an In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) and evaluating their effectiveness to achieve system readiness.
