This position is located within the Office of Administrative Services, General Services Administration.
The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert and provide program oversight and direction for all facets of tenant support and workplace management for GSA Headquarters and the National Capital Region.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Develops and executes requirements and solutions internally within GSA for tenant support for GSA Central Office and the National Capital Region (NCR)
Assess and deploy resources for development of project requirements; coordinate projects and forecast demand; collect, document and utilize best practices; develop and maintain metrics for performance measures; assess the performance and effectiveness of customer offerings; and develop and implement appropriate customer service plans.
Provides oversight and coordinates with appropriate GSA organizations on a wide range of workplace and workspace duties that include, but are not limited to, the following functions: operations and maintenance; repairs and improvements; space planning and tenant alterations.
Plans work to be accomplished by team leads and subordinates; sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments.
Provides advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters; interviews candidates for positions in the unit; recommends appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions; hears and resolves complaints from employees.
Serves as an advocate on workplace services, representing the interests of GSA to internal customers and stakeholders.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $139,395.00 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing, coordinating and advising multi-disciplinary teams that perform technical, administrative or professional work in a business unit of an organization. Such experience must demonstrate interacting with organizations to support and coordinate workplace and workplace duties that include, but not limited to, various aspects of operations; procurement and funding; facilities management; commercial real estate and financial analyses; capital investment planning; and project management and customer service/customer relationship management.
