This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance-Financial Institutions. As a/an Management and Program Analyst, you will support the OCCIP Deputy Assistant Secretary, Critical Infrastructure Protection (DAS CIP) and Director, International Engagement and Mission Support (IEMS) in overseeing all phases of contracting and fulfilling all requirements in key acquisition management focus areas.

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Identify and analyze problems with and or deficiencies in current operations, making recommendations for change and modifying programs to meet Treasury's performance goals. Develop potential solutions through coordination with affected organizations and officials at all levels throughout Treasury's Departmental Offices. Analyze management information requirements to develop reporting systems, including system specification, data gathering and analytical techniques, and system evaluation methodology. Review budgetary, technologic, and regulatory developments with actual or potential impact on the operational effectiveness of both line programs and management actions. Provide technical expertise, leadership, and support to ensure that all involved parties work effectively towards the goals and timely completion of projects.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience providing recommendations to management concerning internal administration operations and management initiatives.; AND Experience leading strategic and operational planning efforts to develop potential solutions to meet performance.; AND Experience analyzing proposed internal policies to evaluate the impact on resources and operations.; AND Experience monitoring existing plans to project future program developments and needs. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience assessing required resources for internal administration operations and management initiatives.; OR Experience supporting strategic and operational planning efforts to develop potential solutions to meet performance goals.; OR Experience tracking the progress on identified milestones of existing plans. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
