About the Position: Position is located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA with the Office of the Chief of Legislative Liaison.
Duties
Manage the systems of records in these areas through routine use of the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS) and IPPS-A -Integrated Personal and Pay System-Army.
Manage Automated Time and Attendance Process System (ATAAPS), AutoNoa (form of Civilian Personnel System), Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), General Business Enterprise System (GFEBS).
Will assist with the responsibility for Civilian/Military manning and strength reporting to include personnel administrative actions.
Initiate actions resulting from request from the Human Resource/Resource Manager(Program Manger) regarding routine and non-routine matters and or events.
Provide information, data, interpretations, explanations, and/or analysis needed to fully respond
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You may be expected to travel up to 25% for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing functional and technical support to staff in areas of civilian and military personnel management and/or Resource Management (such as budget); assisting with developing internal policies and/or standard operating procedures; utilizing personnel, logistics and/or financial automated systems such as, IPPS-A -Integrated Personal and Pay System- Army, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Automated Time and Attendance System (ATAAPS), and/or Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS).
Time in Grade Requirement GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
