Duties

This position will allow you to provide expert advice and analysis to management on a wide range of administrative programs having department wide impact. This position starts at a salary of $117,962.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $153,354.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $153,354.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this Management and Program Analyst position, you will perform the broadest and most significant types of review and management analysis embracing all areas of administrative resources. Typical work assignments include: Providing assistance in the development of policies, plans, and strategies to improve departmental data management Coordinating with functional leads to complete and maintain an up-to-date inventory of systems and data assets Providing assistance in the implementation of USBP's data governance policy through access to a data catalog, enterprise business glossary, data lineage, and traceability between business and technical assets, data policies, and rules Utilizing oral, written, and visual communication and analytical skills to support enterprise-level data management initiatives Providing day-to-day business operations, technical analysis, and support activities with responsibilities in the areas of data, analytics, strategy, reporting, information governance, database management, and communications GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Qualifications

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Directing complex studies requiring application of advanced analytical and statistical methods and techniques Evaluating the content of new or modified legislation for projected impact upon agency programs and resources Developing comprehensive long-range plans and goals, short-term and long-term organizational objectives Providing comprehensive administrative and programmatic management advisory and technical recommendations on substantive organizational functions Analyzing and formulating organizational requirements for informational resource management and supporting allocation targets for mission requirements. Current and former federal employees may be required to serve or complete a probationary period.
