You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Resource, Evaluation and Analysis Branch of the Comptroller Division, Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region - Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Duties

You will analyze financial management control procedures to implement process improvements for operational effectiveness. You will review financial expenditures to determine compliance with laws and regulations. You will assist in audits, audit follow-up matters, internal control assessments (operational and information technology internal controls), and corrective action plans in response to any findings. You will analyze financial processes and policies to identify key internal controls. You will review and analyze financial transactions and investigate, explain and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Compiling, analyzing, and/or summarizing both financial and management control information; researching regulatory, material; AND performing financial management review or assisting with fill scale reviews. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating financial management plans, programs and activities; reviewing and evaluating financial requests; AND controlling and reporting obligations and expenditures. master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
