You will serve as a PLUMBER in the MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC WORKS CENTER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
WG 7 SALARY: $28.97- $33.81 PER HOUR
WG 9 SALARY: $33.27 - $38.83 PER HOUR
Duties
You will repair and replace traps, defective faucets and flushometers, sections of defective tile or pipe and leaky drains.
You will remove, clean, replace, and seal defective parts and small sections of water, sewage, and similar utility systems.
You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify water supply, sewage disposal, oil and gas, and similar utility systems and equipment.
You will cut, bend, assemble, and seat pipes and fittings.
You will use tools of the trade, such as tapes, rules, plumb bobs, hand and power pope threaders, cutters, pipe wrenches, acetylene, and brazing torches, etc.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current respirator certification.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
