Duties
Serve as the Operations Tasking Officer for U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and responsible for receiving taskings, requirements, and Request for Information (RFI) from higher headquarters.
Identify data required for satisfying the requirement and tasks the staff and directorates as necessary to complete the requirements.
Research information, identifies and analyzes issues, and interpret records and reports in order to develop recommendations for resolution.
Coordinate monthly training for staff and subordinate units on ETMS2 and orders writing/production.
Receive, analyze, and responds to actions and requests for foreign disclosure.
Responsible for managing the ETMS2 contract for the command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing IAW DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
- This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
- The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization.
- The employee may be recalled to duty and required to work overtime during other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays on an emergency basis. This position is subject to uncommon tours of duty and/or shift work.
- This position's duties are performed in a windowless building in small workspaces. Accessing the workspace requires the ability to occasionally walk up/down stairs as well as move throughout the building into various work areas.
- Work environment may be mentally and physically taxing when extended work hours are required during exercise and crisis operations.
- Incumbent is required to report for duty during inclement weather, Natural Disasters, and other emergency situations as directed by the Commander.
- May be required to remain on duty after the official shift ends, i.e., mandatory overtime; subject to recall to duty. Incumbent must maintain a functioning telephone to aid in contact during recall/emergency situations.
