About the Position: This position is located at Weed Army Community Hospital at Fort Irwin, California.

Duties

Conduct manpower studies and surveys for a full service Medical Treatment Facility. Utilize manpower guidelines and standards to guide leadership in determining appropriate staffing levels. Makes recommendations to senior leadership based on data gathered to determine efficiencies and effectiveness of hospital operations. Monitor utilization of work years and participates in fiscal year budget projections in preparation for Program and Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC) meetings. Implement and maintain the Weed Army Community Hospital Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), Mobilization TDA (MOBTDA), and Defense Health Agency (DHA) Joint Table of Distribution (JTD).

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business Finance, Business Management, or other related program of study. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business Finance, Business Management, or other related program of study. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
