This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), Division of Digital Quality Measurement (DDQM). As a Management Analyst, GS-0343-14, you will provide day-to-day technical expertise, advice, and consultation on a range of business and administrative operational issues.

Duties

Serve with expert knowledge, analysis, and evaluation of work processes and policies, management practices and work operations that have a nation-wide impact and a direct impact on CCSQ’s vision for digital quality measurement. Represent at digital measure related briefings, hearings, and other meetings throughout CMS and at other levels in Government regarding the justification and approval of specific issues, including external stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project plans, schedules and/or timelines for designated high priority, mission-critical projects of large scope and complexity. Conduct program and market landscape analysis studies to analyze stakeholder capabilities, mission, and functions of existing stakeholder entities.

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government to include: (1) Assisting with the development, testing, implementation or maintenance of clinical quality measures, electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) and data reporting processes within a healthcare system; (2) Making recommendations on system improvements and various quality improvement and measurement practices; AND (3) Engagement in digital quality measures strategic planning and digital measure development activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
