This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the Joint Warfighter Mission Area (WMA) and C2 Data and Services, facilitating WMA and C4/Cyber capability migration to a net-enabled environment.
Duties
As a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/DATAMGT) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develops data and standards doctrine, policy, guidance, concepts, and procedures to ensure warfighter data interoperability across DoD and coalition partners aligning with the DoD Data and Digital Modernization Strategy tenets, principles, and goals.
Supports interoperable C2 data exchange and tactical interoperability standards, advocating for CCMD to enable interoperable C2 and warfighter standardization, and integrating data standards and frameworks requirements into JCIDS documents, test and assessment plans, and key policy and guidance documents.
Proposes solutions to senior leadership to improve data interoperability.
Verifies the API for the data repository interface, the data lake services interface, and the metadata repository interface, operates as designed, including all key function.
Drafts and staff correspondence, decision papers, information papers, point papers, directives, and other routine staff work, generally intended for routing to senior officers and civilian officials.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS 13 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Serving as an Application Programming Interfaces integration and development expert, responsible for ensuring the quality and fitness for purpose of the organization's data assets, metadata, JavaScript/JQuery Spring Boot, Global Information Tracker, security and management data.
Knowledge of Department of Defense data and net-centric data strategy, policies, regulations and processes.
Advising, leading, managing and/or organizing governance bodies within the Department of Defense, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and other federal agencies to implement regulations to direct applicability to warfighter data.
