This position provides the complete range of clerical & admin support services & provides admin assistance to the CEO & DCEO at the PRSU & plays a central role in coordinating the overall admin workflow of the admin dept. Duties include initiating & tracking all personnel actions for the hospital, reviewing all incoming & outgoing correspondence, reviewing publications & directives, tracking training completion, receiving on contracts, training of subordinate clerical staff and arranging travel.

Point of Contact for the Service Unit.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications for GS-06: 1 Year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 Grade Level. Specialized Experience is defined as experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples include: Performing administrative processes such as time keeping; preparing records for processing; scheduling for upper management using electronic calendars; responding to complaints from the public; compiling information from a variety of sources to prepare reports; preparing and submitting supply requisitions according to established rules.
Minimum Qualifications for GS-07: 1 Year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 Grade Level. Examples include: Distributing documents to new employees; advising new employees on proper completion of documents and reviewing documentations before forwarded for approval; Assisting department head staff on new policies and procedures; keeping an updated log on personnel actions, recruitment, resignations, terminations and promotions.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
