Duties

1. Plans, organizes, and directs Special Access Programs (SAP) security for assigned directorate programs/activities, its facilities and acquisition program systems, that support advance or special programs and SCI material, at contractor and other government locations ensuring that all elements of protection complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs throughout the program. 2. Performs duties as the Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO). for assigned programs/activity as defined in AF and DOD guidance. 3. Maintains security oversight of special access programs. 4. Represents organization with DoD, USAF, HQ AFMC, and various oversight organizations as well as government customers and contracted organizations.

• The duty location for this position is located at Wright Patterson AFB, Oh.

• Part 1. Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certificate and Security Asset Protection Professional Certificate conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position
• Part 2. in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and certification and AF! 36-2645, Security Professional Certification and Development.

Expertise in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the Center Commander. 4.
