Duties
As a MANAGEMENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT at the GS-0303-7 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Manages, with direction from the Chief, Mission Assurance Division, relevant budget and travel expenses (O&M and TWCF-funded positions) within established authorities.
Trained, and appointed to execute Alternate, Contracting Officer Representative (COR) responsibilities for the Mission Assurance Support Contract in the absence of the Primary COR.
Serves as the publication/records custodian and manager enhancing and executing processes to maintain official records in accordance with DoD and Command policy.
Maintains Division and the Chief Mission assurance schedules appointments, meetings, speaking engagements, and training requirements, e.g., training forums, updates and data entry into relevant training applications.
Serves as alternate action officer for USTRANSCOM participation in OSD-led Mission Assurance Coordination Board (MACB) activities.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-7, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service:
Serving as a publication / records custodian and manager enhancing and executing processes to maintain official records.
Develops office administrative policies and procedures to meet emergent requirements and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Schedules teleconferences, video teleconferences, and coordinating conference room reservations.
Knowledge and understanding of USTRANSCOM organizational structure, roles and responsibilities and general work processes of the organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
