You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES of NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.
Duties
You will serve as a first line supervisor within the command’s Civilian Personnel division.
You will review and approve work plans to be accomplished by subordinates.
You will monitor priorities and schedules for completion of work, monitor employee performance, review accomplishments, and take appropriate corrective action when deficiencies are noted.
You will advise, counsel and recommend employees for selection, reassignment, and promotion.
You will develop and evaluate performance standards and recommend rewards and incentives.
You will resolve employee complaints, refer group grievances and more serious complaints to a higher authority.
You will review minor disciplinary actions and make recommendations on more serious disciplinary issues (suspensions or removals) involving employees.
You will ensure the Equal Employment Opportunity Program is effectively maintained.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
Qualifications
To qualify for the SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 Grade Level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Department of Defense (DOD), and the Department of the Navy (DON) guidance sufficient to tailor each into effective command-wide policies which promotion mission accomplishment.
Experience developing policies, satisfying reporting requirements, and resolving policies.
Experience communicating and representing the viewpoints of the Commander.
Experience presenting information in various formats at all levels of the command.
Experience communicating and providing guidance regarding policies and procedures.
Experience with automated human resources and manpower management information systems such as Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, Total Workforce Management System, and Standard Labor Data collection and Distribution Applications.
